All Domestic Cricket Tournaments, including The Ranji Trophy, Were Avoided

After postponing the Under-16 Vijay Merchant Trophy last week. Now the Ranji Trophy, the most popular tournament in the country, has also gone viral. The event used to be scheduled to begin on January thirteen. It is banned by BCCI. 

Corona’s impact on the Ranji Trophy has been seen for the second time. The board canceled the tournament last year due to the second wave of Corona. After the commencement of India’s first-class tournament in 1934-35. The tournament lasted for 85 consecutive years and then had to be canceled for the first time without a single match. It is now in danger of being canceled for the second year in a row on the Ranji Trophy. 

The BBCI board currently wants to Stop it for a few days. The 38-team tournament was scheduled to start on January 13 in different parts of the country. Group stage matches were first played in Mumbai, Thane, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Trivandrum. The news agency quoted a member of the tournament organizing committee as saying, “Yes, it has been decided to stop the Ranji Trophy and it cannot start from January 13.”
